ROTTERDAM – During a wonderful evening on board the S.S. Rotterdam, Hamilton Bright was declared the winner of the Piet Heyn SMA Award. The jury praised Hamilton Bright for their personal approach to both clients and employees.

“Hamilton Bright understands how to manage the purchasing decisions of consumers better than anyone. The jury had personal experience of the effect of taking a personal approach on people, and how a ‘warm bath’ is created. The jury was impressed by the way in which Hamilton Bright is able to generate loyalty among staff, and to capture the interest of the millennial generation”, this was the verdict in the jury report from the Sales Management Association.

CEO and co-founder Egon Diekstra accepted the trophy, and is extremely happy with the award. “This award is a fantastic reflection of the fact that we have always remained focused on specialism, allow space for enterprise, and have worked to earn a high level of customer and staff loyalty. I’m extremely proud that we have succeeded in retaining the loyalty of our major clients for more than fifteen years, and that most Managing Directors have fully grown into this role within our company.  This gives us an incredible strength.”

The Piet Heyn SMA Award represents: standing out ‘through entrepreneurial spirit and success, and having the courage to innovate’. Following an extensive preselection process, three candidates were nominated. These were extensively screened and assessed by an expert jury.

The award has previously been won by Hema, Hunkemöller and La Place.
